About the Role

Make an impact with smart software solutions as a DevOps Engineer at Lely. You will work in an innovative team where your code makes a difference, ensuring seamless software development for our robotics solutions. Your responsibilities include standardizing the build processes for diverse software packages, maintaining GitLab CI/CD pipelines, ensuring software quality, and contributing to Agile workflows.

Responsibilities

  • Standardize the build process for various software packages (APT, Python, NPM, containers, etc.).
  • Maintain and optimize existing GitLab CI/CD pipelines.
  • Ensure software quality through design and code reviews, unit and integration tests, and addressing technical debt.
  • Actively contribute to the Agile work process by setting goals, monitoring progress, and managing risks.

About the Candidate

We are looking for a driven engineer passionate about software development and CI/CD who excels in streamlining complex processes. Required skills include:

  • A bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
  • Experience with building APT packages and knowledge of container technologies.
  • Work experience with CI/CD pipelines, especially GitLab.
  • A solid understanding of cybersecurity and its application in software development.
  • Experience working in multidisciplinary Agile Scrum teams.
