About the Role
Join our payment fraud group as a Junior Backend Developer. You will thrive in an Agile environment while utilizing cutting-edge technologies to develop and optimize scalable systems. You’ll collaborate with internal teams to deliver results that significantly impact our operations, and be involved in all stages of the development lifecycle, from planning to post-deployment monitoring.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain scalable backend architectures for applied machine learning platforms.
- Build and optimize real-time and batch processing systems using typed functional programming languages.
- Collaborate with team members to design and maintain backend components in cloud-based environments.
- Contribute to code reviews, testing, and deployments to ensure a reliable CI/CD pipeline.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve production issues focusing on reliability and scalability.
Qualifications
- 2–3 years of backend development experience with typed functional programming languages like Scala or Java.
- Experience with cloud technologies is an advantage.
- Solid understanding of database technologies and familiarity with distributed systems.
- Commitment to writing clean, maintainable code.
