As a Kubernetes Engineer, your tasks will include:
- 2nd Level support for pCloud services based on Kubernetes and Docker.
- Automating the deployment of containerized applications using CI/CD.
- Monitoring and optimizing the platform through logging, monitoring, and tracing.
- Providing 2nd Level operations on a Data Analytics platform.
- Developing release and deployment plans following ITIL guidelines.
- Implementing software and configuration changes in accordance with the existing IT infrastructure.
- Handling incidents as per BWI specifications, including error analysis and resolution.
- Identifying risks and mitigating security vulnerabilities.
- Assisting in the development of training concepts and training new colleagues.
- Maintaining and enhancing technical documentation.
About the Candidate
The ideal candidate should have:
- A degree in computer science or a comparable qualification.
- Proficient knowledge of Linux operating systems and container technologies (Kubernetes, Docker).
- Additional experience in technologies such as Git/GitLab, deployment tools (Terraform, Helm), databases (MySQL, MongoDB, etc.), Java applications, and DevOps methodologies is a plus.
- High self-motivation with a structured and solution-oriented work approach, and strong teamwork skills.
- An ability to navigate unknown DevOps environments and maintain composure under pressure.
- An interest in tackling challenges associated with new technologies.
- Proficient in German and good command of English.
