As a Kubernetes Engineer, your tasks will include:

  • 2nd Level support for pCloud services based on Kubernetes and Docker.
  • Automating the deployment of containerized applications using CI/CD.
  • Monitoring and optimizing the platform through logging, monitoring, and tracing.
  • Providing 2nd Level operations on a Data Analytics platform.
  • Developing release and deployment plans following ITIL guidelines.
  • Implementing software and configuration changes in accordance with the existing IT infrastructure.
  • Handling incidents as per BWI specifications, including error analysis and resolution.
  • Identifying risks and mitigating security vulnerabilities.
  • Assisting in the development of training concepts and training new colleagues.
  • Maintaining and enhancing technical documentation.

About the Candidate

The ideal candidate should have:

  • A degree in computer science or a comparable qualification.
  • Proficient knowledge of Linux operating systems and container technologies (Kubernetes, Docker).
  • Additional experience in technologies such as Git/GitLab, deployment tools (Terraform, Helm), databases (MySQL, MongoDB, etc.), Java applications, and DevOps methodologies is a plus.
  • High self-motivation with a structured and solution-oriented work approach, and strong teamwork skills.
  • An ability to navigate unknown DevOps environments and maintain composure under pressure.
  • An interest in tackling challenges associated with new technologies.
  • Proficient in German and good command of English.
