About the Role

As a Business Intelligence Architect / Entwicklungsleiter, you will lead the development of our Business Analytics platform and manage integration guidelines. You will work closely with upper management and project teams to ensure that technical requirements are met.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the development for the existing Business Analytics Platform and its source systems.
  • Create integration policies and specifications for the Business Analytics platform and architecture design.
  • Manage requirements and classify them within the overall model and fine conceptualization for technical execution in the Data Warehouse and user interface.
  • Advise upper management and project teams on integration issues within the domain of Business Intelligence and Artificial Intelligence.
  • Technically implement ad-hoc requests from users in the platform.

About the Candidate

  • Completed studies in (business) informatics, medical informatics, or economics with an emphasis on IT, or equivalent professional experience; preferably over 5 years of relevant experience.
  • Knowledge in OLAP, data modeling, and database architectures including experience with Data Warehouse technologies (e.g. Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle).
  • Familiarity with common analysis tools (e.g. Qlik Sense, Tableau) and (web) programming (e.g. XML, SQL) as well as methods for process description and IT architecture management is desirable.
  • Strong German and good English language skills in both spoken and written form.
  • A responsible and initiative-driven personality, capable of teamwork and a self-directed, goal-oriented work style with problem-solving skills.
