Position Overview

We are looking for an experienced Principal Data Engineer to join our growing Global Delivery Team within the Enterprise Customer Success Department. You will improve our data and data pipeline architecture while optimizing data flow and collection for associated teams. As a seasoned data pipeline builder, you will support our software developers, data analysts, and data scientists on various data projects, ensuring that our data delivery architecture is consistent across ongoing initiatives.

Main Responsibilities

  • Create data pipeline architecture tailored to meet functional and non-functional requirements.
  • Assemble complex data sets in accordance with project specifications.
  • Identify and implement internal process improvements, including automation and optimization of data delivery.
  • Build infrastructure for data extraction, transformation, and loading using SQL and AWS technologies.
  • Develop analytics tools that leverage the data pipeline to provide insights into employee experience and operational efficiency.
  • Collaborate with team members to address data-related technical issues and infrastructure needs.
  • Stay current with advancements in public cloud services and apply relevant features to enhance team performance.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Over 5 years of experience in a Data Engineer role.
  • A degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Informatics, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • Proficient in English and various technical tools, including AWS platforms, Python, SQL, and BI tools like QuickSight.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Familiarity with Agile and SCRUM methodologies.
  • Experience in developing dashboards with PowerBI.
  • Ability to analyze unstructured datasets.
  • Strong collaborative skills working in agile, distributed teams.
  • Keen interest in natural language processing (NLP) and AI advancements.
