About the Role

Haufe Group SE is looking for a Senior Software Engineer AWS TypeScript (d/m/w) to join the "Business Technology L&D" team in Freiburg im Breisgau. You will develop innovative solutions for our business platform in the AWS Cloud. As part of a Scrum team, you will be responsible for the conception, implementation, and operation. You will engage with modern architectural principles, new technologies, helping us implement DevOps practices, APIs, and microservices. Additionally, you will have the chance to design, implement, and evolve new services from the beginning, and assist in adapting existing processes in light of the SAP transition.

About the Candidate

To succeed in this role, you should bring:

  • Solid experience in software development with cloud technologies and services, ideally AWS.
  • Familiarity with the JavaScript ecosystem and experience with TypeScript.
  • Understanding of DevOps practices like test automation, Infrastructure as code, and CI/CD.
  • Some experience in API development, preferably with NodeJS.
  • Experience in front-end development, particularly with ReactJS, is a bonus but not required.
  • A willingness to learn SAP software development skills including ABAP, SAP-Script, and SAP Business Workflow.
  • Very good German language skills are essential.
