About the Role
Join Client Server as a Senior Full Stack Developer (JavaScript), based in London, with a salary of up to £100k. You will be part of a scale-up tech company that focuses on enabling smart matching for commercial van drivers and consumers through job bidding and route optimization. Established for 10 years and recently funded with £125 million, this role offers an excellent opportunity to progress your career in a hands-on capacity.
In this role, you will collaborate with an Agile technology team to design and develop complex systems. You will work across the full tech stack utilizing JavaScript and Vue.js, and will also engage with other technologies such as TypeScript, Node.js, Java, Python, and some legacy PHP. You will be responsible for deploying your own solutions, emphasizing getting tasks done to impact the business effectively.
Location and Work Model
The company offers a hybrid work model, requiring three days a week in the Hammersmith office, while the other two days are work from home. The office provides various perks including an onsite gym, barista coffee, and free breakfast.
About the Candidate
We are looking for a candidate with:
- Strong full stack JavaScript development skills.
- Experience with JavaScript frameworks, ideally Vue.js, but Angular or React experience is acceptable.
- Proficiency in Python, Node.js, and TypeScript.
- A focus on product and good business acumen.
- Solid knowledge of APIs and web development practices.
- Flexibility and adaptability to changing priorities.
- Full software development lifecycle experience, including CI/CD practices.
- Collaborative spirit with Agile team experience and willingness to mentor junior developers.
- A degree in Computer Science or a similar tech discipline is preferred.
