About the Role

In the Content & Solutions area, we manage all products of the Haufe brand, from content processing to modern AI solutions. We work in cross-functional and responsible project and product teams. We are reinventing our content workflow, and thus look for a (Senior) Software Engineer - Python to join our team in Freiburg im Breisgau as soon as possible.

Expectations from the Candidate

  • Technology and Impact: You will design new concepts with your colleagues for complex automated data conversion processes that our large data volumes ('Content') require.
  • Varied Systems Environment: Your work will involve a diverse environment focusing on Python, XML, XSLT, and other exciting technologies.
  • Growth Opportunities: Our Communities of Practice provide opportunities to acquire new knowledge and exchange ideas with colleagues from other projects.

About Your Skills

  • Passion for Python: You bring extensive experience in Python and love to implement complex, automated data transformation processes.
  • Technological Expertise: Ideally, you have knowledge of XML technologies (XML, XSLT), as well as experience with build and process automation (Git, GitLab, shell scripts) and containerized deployments (Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Team Spirit & Communication Skills: You communicate confidently in German (C1) and value collaboration in agile teams.
