About the Role
Acquism SARL is looking for a Site Reliability Engineer with 6-8 years of experience in the Eindhoven Area, working in a hybrid model with 2-3 days onsite. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring system reliability and uptime by designing and implementing strategies that ensure high availability and performance.
Key Responsibilities
- System Reliability & Uptime: Design and implement strategies for high availability and performance. Define and track SLOs, SLIs, and manage error budgets.
- Incident Management & Troubleshooting: Respond to outages, lead investigations, and implement preventive measures. Create runbooks and automate recovery processes.
- Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Use tools like Terraform for infrastructure that is reproducible and version-controlled.
- Monitoring & Observability: Manage monitoring tools such as Splunk to track service health and performance.
- Collaboration with Development & Operations: Work closely with developers to promote best practices around CI/CD and testing.
About the Candidate (Expectations and Nice to Have Skills)
Candidates should have proficiency in languages like Python, Bash, or Ruby. Familiarity with cloud providers (GCP, Azure), Docker, Kubernetes, and tools such as Jenkins and GitHub Actions is a plus. A strong understanding of system internals, performance tuning, and security management is also desirable.
