We are seeking a highly motivated and entrepreneurial Software Engineer to join our team. You will report directly to the Director of Software Engineering and be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining PHP-based software solutions.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain PHP-based software solutions
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and implement new features
- Ensure performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications
- Identify and resolve bottlenecks and bugs
- Maintain code quality, organization, and automation
About the Candidate (Expectations and Nice to Have skills)
Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years of proven experience developing software with PHP
- Strong proficiency in PHP and object-oriented programming
- Familiarity with front-end technologies: HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery
- Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git)
- Understanding of RESTful APIs and web services
- Knowledge of MySQL or other relational databases
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
Nice to Have:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience with cloud services (AWS, Azure, GCP)
- Experience with Vue, React, or similar SPA frameworks
- Familiarity with NodeJS and serverless architecture
- Understanding of Agile methodologies and CI/CD pipelines
