Responsibilities include researching new technologies, optimizing existing open-source software like Kubernetes, engaging customers, and implementing prototypes to deliver solutions for Intel Architecture processors.
About the Candidate
Required qualifications include a degree in software/engineering/science-related disciplines with a proven programming record, a minimum of 5-7 years in software development ideally as a Cloud Native Software Engineer, and excellent knowledge of programming languages such as Golang, Python, or C, C++, JAVA. Desired qualifications will include experience in distributed applications, Cloud Native or Micro services based applications on Azure, AWS, GCP, and a strong Linux development background.

This position is primarily based in Shannon but offers flexibility to work from Intel sites in Ireland or remotely. Join us in the Data Center Group (DCG) to aid our transformation from a PC company to a leading entity in cloud and connected computing devices. This role also contributes to cutting-edge advancements in areas like artificial intelligence and high-performance computing.
