Prudential Financial is seeking a Lead Software Engineer - Data Management to enhance our data platform at PGIM Fixed Income. You'll partner with various stakeholders to translate their business requirements into efficient data solutions, while also providing support for production incidents.

What You Will Do

In this dynamic role, you will:

  • Develop and maintain applications following modern best practices, ensuring high quality and efficiency.
  • Collaborate with various teams to define technical designs, understanding the complete system lifecycle.
  • Partner with product leads to translate business needs into actionable features.
  • Troubleshoot production issues promptly and effectively.
  • Build and support robust data pipelines, adhering to corporate coding standards, and conduct thorough testing of applications.

What You Will Bring

  • At least 7 years of experience in software development with a focus on Java or Python.
  • Proficiency with relational databases such as Microsoft SQL Server.
  • Exposure to cloud platforms like AWS or Azure is advantageous, along with strong problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and team collaboration capabilities.
