About the Role

As an iOS Engineer at LOVOO GmbH, you will take on a significant responsibility ensuring that our app delivers the best possible user experience. Leveraging both existing and cutting-edge technologies, you will aim to achieve our goals with an emphasis on a strong coding quality and continuous testing.

Key Responsibilities

  • Hands-on conception and development of new app features
  • Implementation of great UI, considering UX best practices and Apple's Human Interface Guidelines
  • Writing high-quality, scalable code with appropriate test coverage
  • Responsible continuous refactoring and optimization of our iOS app with your team
  • Keeping up with the latest technology standards, evaluating trends, and contributing new ideas to enhance product direction
  • Regular knowledge exchange with fellow iOS engineers and participation in company-wide knowledge time meetings

About the Candidate

To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • 4-5 years of professional experience as a native iOS developer
  • Excellent knowledge in Swift and Objective-C, as well as familiarity with iOS development tools
  • Experience in app modularization, databases, and CI/CD automation is a plus
  • Ideally, practical experience in agile software development (Scrum/Kanban)
  • Interest in Open Source and a willingness for continuous learning and adopting new technologies
  • A strong goal-getter mindset along with a proactive and target-oriented work ethic
  • Self-reliance, structured and reliable work style, coupled with strong communication skills
  • Passion for teamwork in an agile, cross-functional, and international environment
  • Very good command of English in both writing and speaking
