Wipro is seeking a Senior Java Backend Developer to enhance our offerings in Warsaw, Poland. With 900+ employees in Poland supporting over 45 clients, we focus on building innovative solutions to meet complex digital transformation needs. As part of the team, you will leverage your Java expertise to deliver high-quality software solutions, emphasizing security, reliability, and performance.

Responsibilities

  • Design and develop API solutions adhering to industry standards for security and reliability.
  • Code in Java/J2EE with frameworks such as Spring, Spring MVC, JPA, and Hibernate.
  • Collaborate within Agile/Scrum teams to ensure timely deliverables.
  • Engage in software configuration management using tools like GIT, Maven, Jenkins.
  • Implement microservice architecture and leverage container orchestration tools, including Kubernetes and Docker.

About the Candidate

The ideal candidate will have:

  • A minimum of 6 years of relevant experience with a Bachelor's Degree or higher.
  • Proficient in Java/J2EE/REST, with solid experience in SQL databases like Oracle and MYSQL.
  • Strong communication skills (both written and verbal).
  • An accountability mindset towards product quality and a keen interest in delivering defect-free code.
