About the Role
Autodesk is leading the transformation of the AEC industry by integrating AI technology into our products. As a Machine Learning Engineer on the AEC Solutions team, you will work on foundational models and generative AI tools to enhance design workflows and engineering processes. You will report to the Machine Learning Manager and support hybrid work arrangements near our Boston, Massachusetts or Toronto, Canada offices.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with engineers to develop scalable data pipelines and architectures.
- Work with large-scale datasets to support preprocessing, augmentation, and analysis.
- Design and execute model experiments, evaluate performance, and iterate based on findings.
- Monitor and optimize machine learning models for accuracy and efficiency.
- Communicate findings through data analysis and visual insights.
About the Candidate
- An MS in Machine Learning, AI, Computer Science, or related field with 3-5+ years of experience in machine learning engineering.
- Expertise in deep learning frameworks (e.g., PyTorch, Ray) and cloud services such as AWS and SageMaker.
- Strong coding skills in Python and excellent documentation abilities.
- Familiarity with AEC domains and practical experience in data preparation and algorithm development.
