About the Role

LichtBlick is looking for you to join their team immediately, either part-time or full-time and on a permanent basis. Your role involves the following responsibilities:

  • Integrating various raw data sources into our Data Warehouse for company-wide utilization.
  • Modeling complex business concepts into maintainable, understandable, and multi-layered data models, always keeping current market trends in mind.
  • Organizing data provisioning ensuring reliable availability for business processes, evaluations, and reporting.
  • Performing complex database queries using SQL.
  • Capturing stakeholder requirements critically and translating them into value-adding solutions, while bringing in your own strategic ideas.
  • Collaborating closely with Data Analysts to develop data-driven solutions for business-relevant questions.
  • Presenting data, insights, and recommendations professionally to colleagues, stakeholders, or management.

About the Candidate

The ideal candidate should have:

  • A completed degree in IT or a comparable qualification.
  • Professional experience in customer service and self-reliant work in medium to long-term projects.
  • Proficient knowledge of various data modeling principles and concepts, with the ability to create suitable data models.
  • Strong SQL skills, ideally with experience in data modeling, ELT processes, and BI tools.
  • Practical experience with Snowflake, dbt, Power BI, Airflow, Python, Secoda, or MS Azure is a plus.
  • A precise and reliable work ethic with the ability to engage relevant stakeholders actively.
  • Quick adaptability to new environments, including technical setups.
  • Motivation to actively shape changes.
  • Strong communication skills, flexibility, and a passion for sustainability.
  • Fluent English language skills, both spoken and written.
