About the Role
LichtBlick is looking for you to join their team immediately, either part-time or full-time and on a permanent basis. Your role involves the following responsibilities:
- Integrating various raw data sources into our Data Warehouse for company-wide utilization.
- Modeling complex business concepts into maintainable, understandable, and multi-layered data models, always keeping current market trends in mind.
- Organizing data provisioning ensuring reliable availability for business processes, evaluations, and reporting.
- Performing complex database queries using SQL.
- Capturing stakeholder requirements critically and translating them into value-adding solutions, while bringing in your own strategic ideas.
- Collaborating closely with Data Analysts to develop data-driven solutions for business-relevant questions.
- Presenting data, insights, and recommendations professionally to colleagues, stakeholders, or management.
About the Candidate
The ideal candidate should have:
- A completed degree in IT or a comparable qualification.
- Professional experience in customer service and self-reliant work in medium to long-term projects.
- Proficient knowledge of various data modeling principles and concepts, with the ability to create suitable data models.
- Strong SQL skills, ideally with experience in data modeling, ELT processes, and BI tools.
- Practical experience with Snowflake, dbt, Power BI, Airflow, Python, Secoda, or MS Azure is a plus.
- A precise and reliable work ethic with the ability to engage relevant stakeholders actively.
- Quick adaptability to new environments, including technical setups.
- Motivation to actively shape changes.
- Strong communication skills, flexibility, and a passion for sustainability.
- Fluent English language skills, both spoken and written.
