About the Role
As a Senior Machine Learning Engineer, you'll evaluate new research and industrial developments in the field of language models and agent-based systems. You'll also assess innovative ML training methods, data processing techniques, and synthesis techniques. Additionally, you will develop prototypes, advise on technology issues, and conduct presentations.
About the Candidate (Expectations and Nice to Have Skills)
The ideal candidate will have a degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field, with at least 5 years of relevant professional experience in the data science field since graduation. Excellent programming skills in object-oriented languages such as Python and good knowledge of Linux and basic knowledge of cloud infrastructures (e.g., Kubernetes) and databases (e.g., vector databases, NoSQL) are essential. You should be capable of presenting at various levels to both experts and laypersons, and possess a high level of independence, results orientation, decision-making, and communication skills. High frustration tolerance while working with technologies in alpha and beta phases and fluent German and very good English skills, both written and spoken, are also required.
