About the Role
We seek a Senior React Developer to join EPAM Systems in Poland. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing full-scale applications using React, ensuring optimal performance, and contributing innovative solutions for our technology-driven environment. Please note, office work 3 days from the EPAM office in Krakow is required.
Responsibilities
- Develop JavaScript code for a large-scale, rich internet and modular application using React 17+
- Create new components for the business-driven library to represent client data
- Collaborate closely with business stakeholders, server-side developers, user experience designers, and quality assurance professionals
- Master state-of-the-art technologies and a complex business domain
- Solve challenging problems in elegant ways
- Share knowledge across the project team
- Contribute to the quality of software delivered in each development iteration
About the Candidate (Expectations and Nice to Have Skills)
Requirements
- At least 5 years of relevant professional experience
- Hands-on commercial experience with React as well as JavaScript
- Proven track record of experience in RESTful API design
- Excellent problem-solving abilities
- Clear understanding of SOLID/GRASP principles, client-side architecture, and design patterns
- Upper-intermediate or higher English level, both written and spoken
Nice to Have
- Previous experience with Node.js or Cypress would be considered as a strong advantage
