Role Responsibilities

  • Define, track, and drive key success metrics for team performance, system reliability, and fraud detection effectiveness, ensuring measurable business impact.
  • Manage the delivery of major initiatives and balance delivery with sustainable engineering practices.
  • Collaborate with Product, Data Science & Analytics, and other stakeholders, defining and prioritizing deliverables for new products.
  • Facilitate the advancement of team members through development opportunities and professional coaching.
  • Ensure teams have high technical proficiency and aim for quality while building a positive work environment based on transparency and trust.

About the Candidate

You should be currently working as an Engineering Manager within a Product/Customer-driven environment, having managed a small-medium sized team. A solid background in full-stack software engineering, high-volume distributed systems, and cloud services like AWS or Google Cloud is essential. Experience in using data and metrics to inform decisions and aligning engineering efforts with business goals is crucial, alongside solid stakeholder management experience.
