We are looking for a Manager / Lead Software Developer PHP Web Development (m/w/d). As part of our modern and hybrid work culture, you decide which of our locations you want to work at: Gütersloh or Rostock. Enjoy the flexibility to work remotely, including from home.

Responsibilities:

  • Leadership and technical guidance of a development team
  • Requirements analysis, development, and architecture of web applications and websites based on TYPO3 and Symfony
  • Creation of clean, efficient, and maintainable code following best practices
  • Debugging and resolving technical issues
  • Implementation of responsive web design principles for optimal user experience
  • Website optimization and adherence to security best practices

About the Candidate

Expectations and Skills:

  • University degree in Computer Science/IT and/or several years of professional experience
  • At least five years of experience as a TYPO3/Symfony developer and proficiency in PHP and MySQL/MariaDB
  • Deep knowledge of TYPO3 CMS and Symfony frameworks, as well as HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript/Typescript, and modern web frameworks such as React
  • Experience with version control systems like Git, CI/CD pipelines, responsive design, and cross-browser compatibility
  • Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and communication and teamwork abilities
  • Team leadership experience is a plus
