About the Role
We are seeking a Lead .NET Engineer to join our team at EPAM. This role involves identifying business problems, designing solutions, writing efficient code, and implementing thorough testing of features before deployment. You will also be responsible for providing on-call support on a rotating schedule. The position is crucial in ensuring that our projects move forward smoothly and efficiently.
Responsibilities
- Identify and understand business problems.
- Design solutions to address those problems.
- Write efficient and clean code to implement solutions.
- Perform thorough testing of all implementations.
- Ship developed features and solutions to production.
- Provide on-call support (24/7) on rotation every 4 weeks, compensated additionally.
About the Candidate
The ideal candidate should have:
- 5+ years of experience in .NET development.
- 2-3 years of working experience in WPF and WCF.
- 1+ years of relevant leadership experience.
- Competency in contemporary programming languages, patterns, and architectures.
- Background in utilizing design patterns in development.
- Proficiency in Full Stack .NET/C# development.
- Expertise in SQL for robust database management.
- Good English communication skills (reading, writing, and speaking).
Nice to Have Skills
While not required, the following skills and knowledge will be considered beneficial:
- Knowledge of capital markets and order management systems.
- Experience in the development of Trade & Order systems.
- Familiarity with various asset types such as Fixed income, derivatives, swaps, and FX.
- Skills in FIX, FIXML, and Tibco products.
