About the Role

Synechron is seeking a PHP Tech Lead with over 10 years of experience in PHP development to design scalable and secure applications. The candidate will lead the implementation of solutions, collaborate with stakeholders, and train development teams. This role requires strong technical knowledge and leadership skills to ensure application performance and compliance.

Responsibilities

  • Design and architect scalable and secure PHP-based applications and services.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to analyze project requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
  • Lead development using PHP frameworks like Laravel and CodeIgniter.
  • Conduct code reviews and mentor developers on best practices.
  • Define coding standards and maintain documentation.
  • Monitor applications for performance and troubleshoot issues.
  • Stay updated on emerging technologies to recommend improvements.
  • Ensure compliance with security standards and regulations.

About the Candidate

A successful candidate must have:

  • 10+ years of PHP development experience, including 3 years in an architectural role.
  • Proficiency in PHP frameworks (Laravel, CodeIgniter) and front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript).
  • Strong understanding of database management systems (MySQL) and RESTful API development.
  • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

Preferred Skills (nice to have)

  • Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
  • Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Knowledge of microservices architecture and design.
