About the Role

Wipro is seeking an ETRM Python Techno/Functional Architect to play a pivotal role in our projects within the energy trading sector. The ideal candidate will conduct detailed requirements analysis for new and existing software projects, working closely with stakeholders to gather and document business and functional requirements. Responsibilities include developing business requirement documents (BRDs), functional specifications, and use cases, as well as translating these requirements into scalable solutions with the software development team. This role also involves identifying opportunities for process improvements and ensuring alignment between business users and technical teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct detailed requirements analysis for software projects in the energy trading sector.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders, including traders and IT teams.
  • Develop clear BRDs, functional specifications, and use cases.
  • Work with the software development team to translate requirements into high-quality solutions.
  • Identify process improvement opportunities.
  • Consult on testing strategies to ensure business needs are met.
  • Facilitate communication between business users and technical teams.
  • Document functional design and testing scenarios.

About the Candidate (Expectations and Nice to Have Skills)

The successful candidate must have a minimum of 15 years of ETRM industry experience, particularly in the Power/Gas Trading domain and European Markets. Strong problem-solving skills and experience in Python, including frameworks like PyTest, FastAPI, and SQL Alchemy are essential. Additional experiences with technologies such as Azure Data Factory and Azure Data Bricks will be considered a valuable asset.
