About the Role
Crestec Europe B.V. is looking for a System Engineer (Full-time, Hybrid – 40 hrs/week) to join our office in Amsterdam Sloterdijk. The responsibilities include designing, developing, and maintaining both front-end and back-end applications. You will write clean, efficient, and well-documented code in PHP and the Laravel framework, develop interactive UIs with JavaScript, TypeScript, and modern libraries such as React or Vue.js, and contribute to projects utilizing .Net framework and C#. Additionally, responsibilities include deploying and managing applications using Docker Containers and operating across Linux and Windows server environments. You will also implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools like GitHub Actions.
About the Candidate
To qualify for this role, candidates should possess the following:
- Education: A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent thinking level.
- Experience: 2 to 3 years in IT system development.
- Language Skills: Excellent command of English and preferably Japanese (written and spoken).
Skills & Competencies:
- Proven experience as a Full Stack Developer.
- Strong proficiency in PHP and the Laravel framework.
- Solid understanding of modern TypeScript and JavaScript development, with experience in frameworks like React or Vue.js.
- Hands-on experience with Docker Containers, CI/CD pipelines, and version control using Git and GitHub is a must.
- Familiarity with hybrid infrastructure, both on-premise and cloud.
- Proficient in Linux shell scripting.
- Strong problem-solving skills and excellent communication abilities.
Nice to have:
- Experience with specific cloud platforms like Azure, AWS, or GCP.
- Knowledge of database systems (MySQL, PostgreSQL, SQL Server).
- Familiarity with web servers such as NGINX and APACHE.
