About the Role
As a PHP developer at Gridhub, you'll work with the founding team on diverse products within the product suite. You will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining our solutions using PHP with Laravel as the backend framework and either ReactJS or Vue.js for the frontend. Your tasks will include deploying your work to our modern stack in AWS. You'll use the latest techniques to ensure that our products are scalable and efficient, working with databases containing billions of records of meter readings that need to be shown to customers without delays.
About the Candidate
We are looking for a driven colleague with at least 3 years of experience as a full-stack developer and in-depth knowledge of Laravel. The ideal candidate will have experience in developing REST APIs, hosting applications in the Cloud, and be able to easily communicate with customers to understand their core needs. You should be capable of planning and executing tasks in an organized and precise manner.
Nice to Have Skills
- Knowledge of Kubernetes and Docker.
- Familiarity with Terraform and AWS.
- Understanding of Apache Kafka.
- Knowledge of Cloudflare.
- Motivation to learn these elements if not already known.
