About the Role

You will work with a lot of ownership and impact at a growing FinTech scale-up. Your expertise in cloud and infrastructure is vital in building secure, highly available, and scalable solutions that align with the insane business objectives and stringent security standards of a modern FinTech company. The current Platform team comprises 4 Engineers, and we aim to expand it to 6 soon. With upcoming funding rounds, this is an exciting time to join us.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deploy & maintain complex infrastructure with AWS, focusing on scalability, resilience, and security.
  • Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) for components using tools like CloudFormation.
  • Implement and manage deployments for optimized connectivity across multiple regions and datacenter environments at high scale.
  • Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions using tools such as Prometheus and OpenSearch.
  • Participate in troubleshooting, document solutions, and implement preventive measures.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure cloud solutions are robust and well-documented.

About the Candidate

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • 3-6 years in cloud/platform/network engineering in a mission-critical environment.
  • Strong understanding of core AWS services, including VPC, Lambda, SQS, DynamoDB, and ECS.
  • Familiarity with IaC tools such as AWS CloudFormation and Terraform.
  • Scripting experience ideally in TypeScript or Go, but Python is also acceptable.
  • Knowledge of CI/CD tools like GitLab and AWS CodePipeline.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and analytical thinking.
  • Excellent communication skills to document complex solutions effectively.

Bonus Skills

  • Experience with AWS networking services, including CloudWAN, Transit Gateway, Direct Connect, and Route 53.
