Role Overview:

We are seeking a talented Senior Machine Learning Engineer to lead the development and implementation of advanced machine learning models and algorithms. As a key member of our team, you will work on challenging projects, leveraging your expertise in machine learning to drive innovation and solve complex problems.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and deploy machine learning models and algorithms to address business challenges and opportunities.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including software engineers and data scientists, to integrate machine learning solutions into our products and services.
  • Lead the end-to-end machine learning lifecycle, from data collection and pre-processing to model training, evaluation, and deployment.
  • Research and experiment with state-of-the-art machine learning techniques and methodologies to improve model performance and scalability.
  • Optimise machine learning pipelines for efficiency, scalability, and reliability, considering both computational and operational constraints.

About the Candidate:

Candidates must possess a Bachelor's or master’s degree in computer science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field. You should have proven experience (5+ years) in developing and deploying machine learning models and algorithms in real-world applications. A strong proficiency in Python programming and popular machine learning libraries/frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn) is expected. Additionally, a deep understanding of machine learning concepts and techniques, including supervised/unsupervised learning, deep learning, and reinforcement learning, is essential. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are required, allowing the effective communication of complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

About the Company:

Operating with a hybrid business model, our partner company will require you to come into the Manchester office 2 days per week to collaborate with fellow colleagues. You will be working at an innovative technology company focused on delivering cutting-edge AI solutions.
