About the Role
As a part of Walmart Global Tech, you’ll build industry defining reusable customer and partner facing services and products to lead differentiated experiences and revenue. You will be deeply involved in designing, building, and maintaining APIs and software services for Walmart's customers, ensuring a high level of performance and user satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- API Development: Design, build, and maintain high performant APIs and software services for our 1P and 3P customers.
- Code Development: Develop robust, maintainable, reusable code for managing various functionalities and ensure the deployment and monitoring of services across environments.
- Requirements Understanding: Analyze and understand business and technical requirements and streamline existing solutions to better meet stakeholder needs.
- Performance Assessment: Conduct analyses on defects and system performance to mitigate recurring issues and bottlenecks while focusing on reliability and security.
About the Candidate (Expectations and Nice to Have Skills)
- Technical Proficiency: Strong development experience in OO languages like Java, Python, C++, or C#. Experience working with cloud applications and database technologies.
- Microservices Experience: Proficient in designing scalable microservices and messaging processing using frameworks such as Kafka.
- Development Methodologies: Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, agile development techniques, and coding best practices.
