About the Role
We are looking for a Lead DataOps Engineer to join our project for a German technology group. In this role, you will be instrumental in developing a highly scalable analytics data platform based on Azure Cloud capabilities. This platform will enable clients to make data-driven decisions using semantic digital twins and knowledge graphs. We encourage you to apply and become part of our innovative team.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop and support Terraform code for Infrastructure as Code in Azure.
- Design, develop and support build and production environments for FrontEnd and Backend Java Development teams based on Azure Kubernetes Service and Azure DevOps capabilities.
- Support Data team with Infrastructure as Code automation for platform setup.
- Design and propose enhancements for Infrastructure as Code, Build, and release processes for multiple Development teams.
- Develop automation using Python as an extension for Azure DevOps capabilities.
- Collaborate closely with Development Tech leads.
- Ensure that proposed automation adheres to best practices including security.
- Follow development guidelines and document the developed code.
- Implement unit tests.
About the Candidate
Expectations
- 5 years experience in Infrastructure as Code focused on Azure capabilities.
- Experience in Microsoft Azure including Virtual Network, Private Endpoints, Web Application Firewall, API Gateway, Insights, Virtual Machines, Azure Event Hub/Bus.
- Skills in DataOps management using Databricks.
- Experience in Azure Kubernetes Service.
- Advanced knowledge of Terraform.
- Solid experience in Azure DevOps and Azure DevOps Pipelines.
- Desire and capability to promote DevOps culture within Development teams.
- Fluent in English.
