Akkodis is seeking a GoLang Developer for a contract role with a client in Jersey City, NJ, Charlotte, NC, or Chandler, AZ. This is a hybrid position requiring three days on-site each week, making it ideal for collaborative work while allowing some remote flexibility. The role focuses on the financial services sector, necessitating a solid background in this area.
Position Summary
- Design, build and release APIs to support the platform onboarding portal.
- Conduct code reviews to maintain high standards of code quality.
- Work on controllers and tools for integrating enterprise shared services into the Kubernetes ecosystem.
- Focus on implementing and adopting container technologies, ensuring automation, deployment, configuration, and monitoring to maintain platform reliability as it scales.
- Collaborate with project teams to ensure proper design and infrastructure patterns.
- Develop automation tools and processes to support both development and production environments.
- Work collaboratively with a geographically dispersed team.
About the Candidate
Required Qualifications
- 4+ years of experience as a software engineer, architect, or developer focusing on building distributed enterprise platforms, with an emphasis on performance, scale, security, and reliability.
- Proficient in developing applications using twelve-factor design patterns.
- API development using the Go language.
- Front-end development experience with frameworks like React, AngularJS, Vue.js or similar technologies.
- Familiarity with SQL and NoSQL databases.
Desired Qualifications
- Familiarity with the financial services industry.
- Experience with continuous integration and delivery practices, including automation tools.
- Knowledge of containers and Kubernetes for orchestration technologies.
