About the Role

We are seeking a Back-End Ruby Engineer (H/F) for our team dedicated to the Lyf Pay payment solution. This sector focuses on designing and developing customer services, particularly innovative mobile and web applications in proximity payment and e/m-commerce.

Responsibilities

  • Needs Analysis and Feasibility: Propose suitable technical solutions and conduct feasibility studies.
  • Design & Development: Create technical solutions including architecture documentation and technical specifications. Collaborate on development and manage branches for integration and deployment.
  • Quality Control and Performance: Conduct code reviews, automate unit, acceptance, and end-to-end tests.
  • Technical Support: Provide technical assistance within the team.

About the Candidate

We expect candidates to have a Bac +4/5 degree in computer science, with 5 years of development experience and good English proficiency.

Technical Skills:

  • Strong capabilities in Ruby, proficient in ReactJS and Ruby on Rails.
  • Experience with SQL, PostgreSQL databases, Git, GitLab, and CI/CD tools.
  • Familiarity with REST/JSON APIs, Swagger, and distributed systems architecture.

Preferred Knowledge:

  • Cloud/VM (HyperV, VMware), Docker, Kubernetes, C#, React Native, and application protocols (HTTP, WebSocket).
