About the Role

As a Software Engineer, you will be part of the Engineering team at Code Orange. Your responsibilities include:

  • Writing clean and efficient code
  • Recommending and implementing improvements
  • Creating technical documentation for reference and reporting
  • Developing in an Agile environment
  • Building high-quality back-end applications and services
  • Ensuring secure software engineering practices
  • Bridging communication between back-end and front-end teams You will collaborate closely with your colleagues, product owners, and designers who are enthusiastic about innovation and technology.

About the Candidate (Expectations and Nice-to-Have Skills)

We are looking for candidates with the following qualifications:

  • A theoretical background (university or bachelor) in computer science or engineering
  • At least 3 years of work experience in software development
  • Ability to write clean code with clear, extensive documentation
  • Proficient in English, with experience in Agile methodologies
  • Familiarity with PHP frameworks like Laravel or Symfony and relational databases such as MySQL or PostgreSQL
  • Knowledge of JS frameworks (React, Angular, or Vue.js) and build setups (npm, yarn)

Bonus points for:

  • Experience with headless CMS, Electron, Ruby on Rails, AWS cloud solutions, and certifications
