About the Role
As a Software Engineer, you will be part of the Engineering team at Code Orange. Your responsibilities include:
- Writing clean and efficient code
- Recommending and implementing improvements
- Creating technical documentation for reference and reporting
- Developing in an Agile environment
- Building high-quality back-end applications and services
- Ensuring secure software engineering practices
- Bridging communication between back-end and front-end teams You will collaborate closely with your colleagues, product owners, and designers who are enthusiastic about innovation and technology.
About the Candidate (Expectations and Nice-to-Have Skills)
We are looking for candidates with the following qualifications:
- A theoretical background (university or bachelor) in computer science or engineering
- At least 3 years of work experience in software development
- Ability to write clean code with clear, extensive documentation
- Proficient in English, with experience in Agile methodologies
- Familiarity with PHP frameworks like Laravel or Symfony and relational databases such as MySQL or PostgreSQL
- Knowledge of JS frameworks (React, Angular, or Vue.js) and build setups (npm, yarn)
Bonus points for:
- Experience with headless CMS, Electron, Ruby on Rails, AWS cloud solutions, and certifications
