About the Role
We are looking for a Java Developer specialized in building APIs. If you have experience in transforming endpoints into seamless digital connections, we have a spot for you in our team. As a Java Developer, you will develop additional functionalities that enable various systems to communicate.
Your responsibilities include:
- API Development: Design efficient APIs that allow smooth communication between different software systems.
- Endpoint Development: Implement API endpoints to enable data exchange and service usage between applications.
- Data Serialization: Use various techniques to ensure secure information transfer between software components.
- Version Control and Documentation: Manage API versioning and create documentation to guide developers in effectively integrating and using APIs.
- Security Implementation: Implement security measures to protect APIs from unauthorized access and safeguard data integrity.
About the Candidate (Expectations and Nice to Have Skills)
We are looking for someone with:
- A minimum of HBO work and thinking level.
- Residency in the Netherlands.
- Excellent command of the English language.
- A curious and solution-oriented mindset.
- At least 2 years of work experience with Java, RESTful API design and implementation, secure authentication and authorization mechanisms in API development, and API testing methodologies to ensure reliability and performance.
