About the Role

As the Training Manager, Talent Incubation at Jarvis Consulting Group, you will play a pivotal role in leading our technical and soft-skills training initiatives. This includes managing a team of trainers, designing customized training programs, and working closely with business and HR teams to ensure our talent pipeline aligns with industry needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Team Leadership: Manage a team of trainers and foster a culture of innovation and excellence in both technical and soft-skills training.
  • Program Development: Collaborate with stakeholders on training content tailored to client needs, focusing on emerging technologies.
  • Hands-On Training: Actively coach trainees in coding, Agile methodologies, and tools such as Java, Python, SQL, and React.
  • Talent Pipeline Management: Oversee scheduling, trainer recruitment, and provide ongoing support to consultants post-training.
  • Continuous Improvement: Innovate training methodologies and content to stay ahead of industry trends.
  • Community Building: Host events to attract talent, engage alumni, and strengthen client relationships.

About the Candidate

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • 5+ years of experience in software training or software development.
  • 2+ years of team leadership experience.
  • Technical expertise with:
    • Backend: 4+ years in Java, Python, JavaScript, GoLang, etc.
    • Frontend: 2+ years with Angular, React, or similar frameworks.
    • 4+ years in SQL, Shell scripting, and Agile/Scrum methodologies.
  • A passion for mentorship and hands-on coaching.

Nice-to-Have Skills

  • Experience in Data Engineering (Spark/Scala, Python) or ML/AI.
  • Expertise in DevOps/Cloud (AWS, Azure, GCP).
  • Project Management or Scrum Master certification.
