About the Role
AutoSync is seeking a full-time Software Engineer with expertise in Python to join our team. You will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and managing full-stack web solutions. From the initial technical analysis through to the final delivery and testing, you'll ensure that all web solutions meet our high standards of quality. Collaborating with QA engineers and Product Owners, you will provide necessary testing information to validate deliverables, allowing us to meet our users' expectations.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop end-to-end web solutions.
- Oversee architectural considerations and implementation processes, ensuring thorough documentation and unit testing.
- Maintain and improve engineering standards through code reviews and process improvements.
- Participate in on-call rotations for timely responses to production incidents.
- Conduct root-cause analysis on defects to prevent future issues.
- Communicate efficiently with team and product stakeholders regarding project needs and feasibility of solutions.
About the Candidate
We are looking for candidates with:
- A university degree in Computer Science, or equivalent.
- Over 5 years of experience in building online software and familiarity with website usability.
- Proficient as a full-stack developer using Python and Vue.js or React.
- Experience with SQL and RDBMs, particularly Postgres.
- Solid understanding of RESTful API implementation and unit testing.
- An ability to work independently in a remote team environment and demonstrate excellent time management skills.
