About the Role:
As a Senior Software Engineer - Backend, you will actively design backend components and services for new feature developments of the KeepTruckin platform. Responsibilities include implementing scalable architecture and contributing to robust projects like Telematics, Geolocation, and video streaming.
What You’ll Do:
- Write scalable, secure, maintainable code that powers the platform connecting the world’s trucks.
- Develop creative solutions to complex problems and participate in code reviews.
- Work on our AWS cloud infrastructure.
- Collaborate with the product team to execute key technical strategies.
- Mentor and learn from fellow developers within the engineering team.
What We’re Looking For:
- B.S. or M.S. in Computer Science or related field.
- 5+ years of software development experience.
- Experience building product infrastructure, distributed systems, and data models using relational databases.
- Proficiency in languages such as Ruby on Rails, Java, Go Lang, or Javascript/Node.js.
- Experience with relational and NoSQL databases like PostgreSQL, DynamoDB, Redis, and Cassandra.
- Familiarity with building for Cloud Infrastructure (AWS, GCP, Azure).
