About the Role

We are looking for a talented software engineer with deep expertise in Python, cloud infrastructure, and databasing as we scale for the next phase of growth. As a software engineer, you will be part of the platform team, where you design, implement, and maintain platform functionality focusing on:

  • ParaPy Cloud: The environment where our applications are deployed, focusing on scalability, performance, and task automation.
  • ParaPy Single Source of Truth: An innovative engineering database that transforms collaboration within engineering enterprises.
  • ParaPy SDK: A set of evolving Python packages used by our customers for application development.

About the Candidate

We seek an individual passionate about creating platforms with useful abstractions for developers. The ideal candidate should have:

  • A M.Sc. in Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent.
  • Minimum 3 years of professional coding experience, primarily in Python.
  • 2 years of experience with cloud providers (Azure, AWS, GCP).
  • Familiarity with DevOps practices, Git, automated testing, and CI/CD.
  • Skills in Linux, containerization tools (Docker, Kubernetes), and Infrastructure as Code (e.g., Terraform).
  • Experience in project leadership and translating business needs into software requirements.
