About the Role
Hannover Rück is expanding its IT Life & Health Product Teams by hiring a Java Fullstack Developer. This role focuses on enhancing digital processes within our Life and Health reinsurance departments by developing automated risk assessment systems (hr | ReFlex).
Responsibilities
- Design and implement new functionalities.
- Enhance system and software architecture.
- Ensure a high software security standard.
- Implement a DevOps structure based on Clouds and Containers.
- Collaborate in an Agile Scrum Team with internal and external colleagues in an international environment.
- Serve as a technical point of contact for Product Owners.
About the Candidate
Candidates should have prior experience in Fullstack Java and Angular, with a solid foundation in software development and architecture. A degree in (Business) Informatics or a technical/commercial education with additional training in software development is required. Proficiency in the technologies Java, Spring, Angular, Maven, Gradle, Git, Jenkins, Jira, Confluence, AWS Cloud, Docker, and Kubernetes is important, alongside conversational German and English skills.
