About the Role
Coinbase is seeking experienced backend engineers to join our Institutional Product Group. You will solve unique, large scale technical problems, bridging web-scale applications with blockchain technology, and build the next generation of systems to make cryptocurrency accessible globally.
Responsibilities
- Build new services to meet critical product and business needs using Golang.
- Design scalable systems with modern cloud technology.
- Articulate a long term vision for maintaining backend systems.
- Collaborate with engineers, designers, product managers, and leadership to create a roadmap.
- Write high quality, well-tested code.
About the Candidate
You have at least 5 years of software engineering experience and have designed, built, and maintained production services. You write high-quality, well-tested code and are passionate about contributing to an open financial system.
Nice to Haves
- Experience in rapid company growth environments.
- Familiarity with Blockchain technologies (Bitcoin, Ethereum).
- Knowledge of Golang, Ruby, Docker, Rails, Postgres, MongoDB, or DynamoDB.
