About the Role

As a Lead Java Developer at Talent-R, you will be both a technical reference and a team facilitator. Your responsibilities include ensuring the quality, performance, and scalability of developed products while mentoring passionate developers. You will work in an agile, DevOps, and cloud environment on strategic projects that are crucial for the future of the industry.

Responsibilities

  • Development: Design, develop, and deploy robust web/mobile applications and APIs.
  • Quality & Craftsmanship: Implement TDD practices, clean code, SOLID principles, conduct code reviews, and pair programming.
  • Technical Leadership: Facilitate technical rituals, mentor the team, and coordinate architectural decisions.
  • Industrialization: Focus on continuous integration, deployment on Kubernetes, and performance optimization.
  • Collaboration: Actively participate in product design phases and collaborate with business teams.
  • Innovation: Contribute to technical assets and internal developer communities.

About the Candidate

Required Skills:

  • Proficiency in Java 17 (ideally 21).
  • Experience with Spring Boot and NodeJS/NestJS.
  • Familiarity with Typescript (a plus).
  • Knowledge in REST architecture and Event-driven architecture (EDA).
  • Experience with PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Kubernetes, Docker, GitLab CI, and GCP.
  • Competence in agile methodologies and DevOps practices, along with pair/mob programming.

Profile:

  • Minimum of 5 years experience in product development and team leadership.
  • Strong technical skills with the ability to explain complex concepts simply.
  • Passionate, meticulous, and collaborative spirit.
