About the Role

Softeam, part of the Docaposte Group (La Poste), is seeking a DevOps Engineer / Kubernetes Expert to enhance our team. This role involves optimizing infrastructure and automating processes while implementing CI/CD best practices and monitoring solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Design, deploy, and administer Kubernetes clusters
  • Integrate and maintain tools within the Kubernetes ecosystem, including Istio, Helm, and Prometheus
  • Establish and refine robust CI/CD pipelines using GitLab CI, Jenkins, etc.
  • Monitor, assess, and secure infrastructures
  • Automate operational tasks through scripting with Bash, Python, and Terraform
  • Work closely with development teams to improve continuous delivery and deployment quality
  • Participate in the evolution of DevOps practices and keep abreast of technology

About the Candidate

The ideal candidate has a higher education in computer science (Bac+5) or equivalent experience and at least 3 years of significant experience in a similar role. Key qualifications include:

  • Expertise in Kubernetes management, deployment, and troubleshooting
  • Proficiency with monitoring tools like Prometheus and Grafana
  • Strong CI/CD experience, along with Infrastructure as Code skills using Terraform or Ansible
  • Regular scripting practice in Bash and Python is necessary
  • Fluent in English

  • Salary: €43,000 - €55,000, based on seniority
