About the Role

As a (Senior) Software Engineer at STACKIT, you will be instrumental in shaping the future of cloud services in Europe. You will develop a cutting-edge Data and AI Platform as part of the team. Your responsibilities include:

  • Developing the Data and AI Platform as a sovereign cloud service.
  • Enhancing the system architecture and identifying relevant open-source projects.
  • Creating REST APIs that enable customers to manage the service lifecycle.
  • Developing Kubernetes operators to automate the lifecycle of cloud services.
  • Taking responsibility within the agile product team: "You Build It - You Run It!"
  • Conducting in-depth root cause analyses and implementing sustainable solutions.

About the Candidate

We are looking for individuals who are passionate about new technologies in the field of AI. You should have:

  • Strong focus in software development and ample experience with Kubernetes, feeling at home in cloud environments.
  • Proficiency in programming with Golang.
  • Familiarity with MLOps concepts and tools such as Airflow, mlflow, or kserve.
  • A drive to explore new technologies and apply them practically.
  • Enjoyment in sharing knowledge with fellow team members.
