About the Role

As a Senior Fullstack Software Engineer in Riskified’s Merchant Platform Team, you’ll be involved in end-to-end application development using various technologies. Working in a fast-paced, agile environment with cutting-edge tools, you’ll help expand Riskified’s ecosystem. You will take full ownership of the applications, from feature planning to deployment and monitoring. Our tech stack includes Scala, Spark, Node.js, Ruby, React, PostgreSQL, Elastic, Redis, AWS, Kafka, Docker, Kubernetes, and CircleCI, among others. You will focus on customer-facing applications, enhancing functionalities that help merchants manage orders through advanced analytics.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Design and implement a reliable and scalable architecture for core services and web applications.
  • Deploy code to production daily using advanced CI/CD pipelines.
  • Take ownership of production systems, ensuring optimal performance.
  • Collaborate with design and product teams to plan and implement new features.

Qualifications

  • B.Sc. in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years of hands-on server-side coding experience.
  • Practical experience with React, and familiarity with Node.js is a plus.
  • Proficiency in full-stack development with a solid understanding of databases (SQL, NoSQL).
  • Familiarity with cloud services (AWS, GCP) is advantageous.
  • A positive attitude with an independent, self-learning mindset.
