About the Role

Synechron is looking for a Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) who is dependable and committed to understanding and documenting the Firm's ServiceNow instances and their dependencies, while prioritizing technical debt to enhance client satisfaction and operational efficiency. This role involves addressing various operational challenges and contributing effectively within a vibrant team environment.

Responsibilities

  • Delivery of improvements that will maximize the availability and performance of supported systems through optimized and automated operational tasks.
  • Collaboration on the development of operational tools, ongoing problem management, and architecture reviews with colleagues.
  • Troubleshooting ServiceNow issues, as well as some on-premise capabilities in a Linux environment.
  • Contribution to understanding the Firm's ServiceNow instances and related dependencies, including prioritizing technical debt impacting client satisfaction and operational efficiency.

About the Candidate

  • 2-5 years of experience in software development.
  • Skilled in programming languages: Python, with experience in ServiceNow administration or development being an asset.
  • Proficient oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to establish warm, effective relationships with colleagues and contribute positively to a collaborative team environment.
