You will provide essential technical support for the design and implementation of SCADA systems in our renewable energy projects.
Responsibilities
- Design and Development: Develop and implement SCADA strategies for utility-scale solar + BESS generation facilities, substations, and transmission systems, ensuring compliance with all relevant standards.
- Engineering Analysis: Analyze and troubleshoot SCADA systems to ensure their efficient operation.
- Collaboration: Collaborate with engineers, project managers, and stakeholders to ensure seamless integration of SCADA systems.
- Testing and Validation: Create test plans to validate SCADA system performance and provide training on their operation and maintenance.
- Continuous Improvement: Stay updated with emerging SCADA technologies to enhance system performance.

About the Candidate
Minimum Requirements:
- B.S. degree in electrical engineering or computer science, with preferred ABET accreditation.
- A minimum of 2 years of related experience.
- Familiarity with SCADA systems, hardware, and communication protocols.
- Programming skills in Python or Java, and experience with SQL databases. Preferred Experience:
- Knowledge in Ignition, Cisco, and SEL, with strong problem-solving skills.
- Professional certification in SCADA systems would be beneficial.
