Data Scientist

About the Role

As a Data Scientist at Kerry Search Partners, you will engage in the following tasks:

• Build and deploy models that transform noisy on-chain data into actionable insights.
• Develop risk scoring and P&L models, particularly for DeFi markets.
• Automate data pipelines using the latest AI frameworks.
• Collaborate with PMs and engineers on product metrics.
• Lead projects from prototype to production, managing design and implementation.
• Communicate findings to both technical and non-technical audiences clearly.

About the Candidate

Expectations:

• A strong passion for Web3, evident through contributions in coding or community involvement.
• Experience with AI/ML for automating data workflows effectively.
• Solid understanding of statistical concepts, especially time-series analysis and anomaly detection.
• Experience developing financial models and knowledge of financial instruments like swaps and perpetuals.
• Proven ability to work independently in fast-paced environments.

Nice to Have:

• Experience in developing dashboards for analytics features.
• Familiarity with on-chain execution.
• Previous work in early-stage startups or DeFi protocols.
