About the Role

As a DevOps Engineer at Kabisa, you will manage critical applications that have a direct impact on daily life, such as platforms for alerting care institutions of fires or managing work schedules for thousands of employees. With our Managed Services team expanding, we are looking for someone who can provide good input and ideas to achieve our growth ambitions. Your daily tasks will include automating processes focusing on monitoring, backups, and the auto-scaling of containers.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure applications remain operational, safe, and up to date.
  • Automate processes with a focus on monitoring, backups, self-healing services, and auto-scaling of containers.
  • Analyze problems and implement solutions that contribute to stability, performance, or safety.
  • Implement security patches and software updates to ensure reliability.
  • Engage actively with clients, manage communication, and resolve issues proactively.
  • Work closely with project teams and contribute to the growth ambitions of Kabisa.

About the Candidate

We expect you to have a completed HBO/WO degree in software development. You enjoy being in contact with customers and are not hesitant to pick up the phone or travel to meet them. You have experience in software development, specifically with Java, Python (Django), and/or Java. Experience with AWS, Kubernetes, serverless infrastructures, and building CI/CD pipelines is essential. You are eager to quickly master any languages and techniques you are not yet familiar with.
