About the Role
CipherTek Recruitment is partnering with a prestigious investment bank to find a highly skilled and hands-on Machine Learning Operations (MLOps) Lead. This remote role will be pivotal in building out a greenfield framework for the deployment and management of scalable AI/ML solutions for the front and Middle Office user base.
As an MLOps Lead, you will define and set up a standardized MLOps framework for capital markets, including tools and practices that will educate data scientists and equip them with the necessary expertise. You must be hands-on and possess a strong understanding of DevOps, machine learning, and data engineering. This role allows for significant exposure across the bank, necessitating excellent relationship-building and communication skills.
Core Responsibilities
- Lead the development of AI/ML CI/CD pipelines and frameworks on Azure Databricks.
- Define and implement best practices for DataOps, DevOps, ModelOps, and LLMOps to standardize and accelerate the AI/ML lifecycle.
- Collaborate with data scientists and Front Office Quant teams to build, monitor, and maintain AI/ML solutions.
- Stay current with GenAI advancements to enhance platform innovation.
- Align with the bank's Enterprise Advanced Analytics & Artificial Intelligence group for strategic consistency.
- Manage large datasets and support integration and analytics across various data sources.
About the Candidate
The ideal candidate should have:
- 2+ years of MLOps experience and at least 3 years in AI/ML engineering.
- Knowledge of Azure Databricks and related services, along with proficiency in Python ML frameworks.
- Experience deploying and maintaining LLM services and solutions.
- Expertise in Azure DevOps and familiarity with Databricks CLI.
- Strong programming skills and a solid grasp of AI/ML algorithms, model governance, and agile methodologies.
