About the Role

OVHcloud is on the lookout for a Software Developer - Golang H/F/N to join their team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for cloud technology and a desire to contribute to unique projects that aim to define the future of innovative digital solutions. Responsibilities will encompass:

  • Designing and developing new catalogue management features.
  • Maintaining and improving middleware APIs.
  • Analyzing and resolving existing automation bugs.
  • Integrating new functionalities into the current architecture.
  • Enhancing team tools for improved productivity.
  • Contributing to the continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD) processes.
  • Participating in code reviews and promoting best development practices.

About the Candidate

The successful candidate should meet the following expectations:

  • Proficiency in a programming language, ideally Golang, as the company transitions from Perl to Go.
  • Experience working with Docker, Linux, Bash, and Python is a plus.
  • Ability to thrive in a collaborative work environment that values code reviews and CI/CD.
  • Interest in taking on technological challenges and automating infrastructure management processes.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies, particularly Scrum.
  • Capability to communicate effectively in English within an international setting.
  • An understanding or background in billing systems or cloud products is advantageous.
