About the Role

The Privatize engineering team is seeking a fully remote Senior Developer with deep expertise in Python, Django, and TailwindCSS to lead the development of strategic platform features. With at least 5 years of experience or exceptional technical ability, you will play a crucial role in shaping the product architecture, driving implementation, and delivering creative, user-focused solutions.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Lead end-to-end development of new features using Python, Django, and TailwindCSS, from architecture to deployment.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with product, design, and business teams to turn concepts into scalable and maintainable code.
  • Manage technical projects, establish timelines, and ensure successful delivery.
  • Gather and interpret feedback from users and stakeholders to drive product evolution.
  • Advocate for best practices in code quality, performance, and security.
  • Mentor junior developers and contribute to a collaborative, growth-focused engineering culture.

About the Candidate (Expectations and Nice to Have Skills)

To succeed in this role, you should bring:

  • 5 years of professional software development experience, including deep expertise in Python, Django, and modern frontend frameworks such as TailwindCSS.
  • Proven ability to independently manage and execute on complex projects.
  • Strong problem-solving mindset with a track record of crafting creative, scalable solutions.
  • Experience working in cross-functional teams and aligning tech decisions with product strategy.
  • Familiarity with Github, Sentry, and Figma.
  • Bonus: Experience in private markets, fintech, or B2B2C platforms.
